John Haws Podcast February 20, 2011 EDSC 3250 Section 1

Podcast Blog

What:

It has been a bad week for me in Instructional Media.  I couldn't focus on the Podcast instructions and still have not completed it, but I will.  It would have been so much better if I could have followed you.  I was behind and did not want to get special help.  I will get it.  I flunked my last assignment, and I completed it.

Now What:

Now I need to complete the assignment.  I have that on my agenda for tomorrow.  I look forward to completing it on my own.  I am sure glad that we have another week and I don't have to go to your class tomorrow.

So What:

Next Monday I need to be ready to concentrate on the lesson.

February 5, 2011 Google Part 2

What?

We have overwhelmingly taken on a lot of beneficial information.  I believe the work that I have done is going to make it possible to have an awesome web page as a teacher.  This site will give all the possibilities to have a successful technological adventure in the classroom.  I am excited about the quiz page.  I am excited about the calendar and the announcement pages.  I am excited that I was able to post my picture on the page.  I am amazed at the possibilities.

So What?

This is a great opportunity to prepare for fall semester and get my web page ready to be used.  I am excited about the unlimited uses that can come from using the Web site.  I am excited to be able to give parents a site to be able to see when homework is due, read the announcements.  It is something that I want to have in my future classroom.  You have made this all possilble.

Now What?

I have to get practicing and to take the time to become fluent in the process.  Practice, Practice, Practice will be the key to make it a part of my life.  I feel like when we moved pretty fast over all of these items.  I have to make sure I incorporate them in my brain.  The web site will be as good as I incorporate it into my life.  Thank you for making it possible.

P.S.: Sorry about coming into your classroom twice in one week.  Thanks for being so patient.  I wish I could promise you that it wouldn't happen again.  Sincerely  John Haws
